Agree with that, frankfurt. A bit of all the elements of past stuff in there, which makes a good all round measure as an album.

It's good but not really a new album as such, more a compilation of unreleased tracks from years ago.
I've been waiting for him to release Minipops since 2007.
Apparently has another 2 albums coming out quite soon, so hopefully some more up to date stuff.

Agree, there's nothing revolutionary here. Could have been disc 3 of Drukqs. Still think it pisses on most electronic music out there though.
Can't think of many who can match him. Squarepusher comes close. Autechre before they forgot to make tunes that were enjoyable to listen to.

Yeah, he seems to have mellowed slightly and is polishing off tracks rather than destroying them. They all sound ridiculously tight. The piano one was relaxed. Doesn't beat Avril14 though. CIRCLONTA was my stand out. The one with Jungle beats made me cringe.

It's on spotify and its all pretty much the same as his old stuff.
Was hoping for a few classical sounding numbers but he hasn't bothered.
Hope he does another ambient album to follow up.
